 Hello and welcome back to another blog today we are discussing represntation. 

Our film repesents those struggling with mental health and how it can affect ones sence of reality. In our film we portrayed the genre of phsycological horror. Steriotyplically the people in these films are portrayed as "crazy" and their mental illnesses makes them dangerous but in reality people struggling are more then likely not dangerous. This steriotype creates a harmful stigitism around mental health and getting help. It our movie we break this sterioytpe by exploring how tramua affects those with disorders and the disossiation that may follow. 

I think our characters could maybe have had a more developed storyline to enhance this theme more but due to this just being a movie opener i do not think that would have been possible.

All about me

       Hi, my name is Kara. I am a Junior at Hollywood Hills High. I have been taking AICE classes since my freshman year and have completed and passed five classes. In school, I participate in some after-school activities. I am the vice president of Careers in Sports and a member of the Women of Tomorrow club, as well as SADD. I have also been a starting defender for my school's Varsity girls' soccer team since my freshman year. Not only do I play soccer in school, but I also play for an after-school club. Managing being a student and an athlete is hard, but so far, I have managed to keep my grades and GPA up. I decided to take this class because I have an interest in media and am excited to learn more about the ins and outs of it. That's just a little bit about me! Thank you for reading!
