Camera Movements

Welcome back! This week, we were asked to take various videos using the camera movement we used in class. These are the videos I took. Hope you enjoy! This pan shot of students working hard and chatting. This symbolizes the need for balance in a world so fast-moving. By chatting with your friends, you can maintain your mental health.    This zoom in of my Teacher shows how she is always here to help out her students with a smile on her face. This is comforting in a day when helpful and welcoming teachers are hard to come by.  Two friends are walking through a library, chatting and having a good time. This symbolizes the fun times we have with friends, even in the calmest of places.  This handheld shot is my take on a pov of a person running from someone trying to hurt them. It is made to make you feel scared and worried. In reference to scary movies, running from a killer.  This steadicam shot is of two girls studying hard, portraying the non-stop hard wor...

Classmate's blog commentary

Image
Hi, welcome back! Today we were asked to comment on some of our classmates' photos. I chose these, hope you enjoy! https://gababrow.blogspot.com/   1. This floor-level shot by my classmate Gabrielle evokes a feeling of hope. To me, it simulates a new beginning when she picks up the pencil. As if when she picks up that pencil, her life will change for the better.  2. This is another image taken by my classmate Gabriel. I like this picture because of the diverse group of people interacting together as friends. It shows the way that young people interact with each other without judgment. 3. I like this image because it really shows the grind of an average high school AICE student. It focuses on girls working in books and on computers, but in the background, you see many others also working, truly capturing the hard work put in by students.  https://kyrasmedias65.blogspot.com/  1. I especially like this image taken by my classmate Kyra. I enjoy the playful tone crea...

All about me

Hi, my name is Kara. I am a Junior at Hollywood Hills High. I have been taking AICE classes since my freshman year and have completed and passed five classes. In school, I participate in some after-school activities. I am the vice president of Careers in Sports and a member of the Women of Tomorrow club, as well as SADD. I have also been a starting defender for my school's Varsity girls' soccer team since my freshman year. Not only do I play soccer in school, but I also play for an after-school club. Managing being a student and an athlete is hard, but so far, I have managed to keep my grades and GPA up. I decided to take this class because I have an interest in media and am excited to learn more about the ins and outs of it. That's just a little bit about me! Thank you for reading!
