Hello! Welcome back to my blog! today we were asked to measure how good we are at each skill. As well as chose our group mates. 


Using a camera (photography or video) including those built into a mobile phone.- I am good at this 


Recording sound either on its own or as part of a video.- i can do this but need to improve


Using light for effect, either in still photography or moving image.- i can do this but i need to improve


Using video or photo editing software.- i can do this but i need to improve.


Using desk-top publishing software.- I need to acquire this skill


Writing for specific purposes and audiences.- I am good at this


Producing social media such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook.- I am good at this 


Using online applications to enhance the meaning of texts, for example Prezzi, Powtoon, Slideshare.- I need to acquire this skill



My group mates are: Kyra Katz, Kara Romano, Gabrielle Brown, and Kate Shapkin


Kyra strengths- Using light for effect, either in still photography or moving image


Gabby strengths- Writing for specific purposes and audiences


Kate's strengths- Using video or photo editing software

All about me

       Hi, my name is Kara. I am a Junior at Hollywood Hills High. I have been taking AICE classes since my freshman year and have completed and passed five classes. In school, I participate in some after-school activities. I am the vice president of Careers in Sports and a member of the Women of Tomorrow club, as well as SADD. I have also been a starting defender for my school's Varsity girls' soccer team since my freshman year. Not only do I play soccer in school, but I also play for an after-school club. Managing being a student and an athlete is hard, but so far, I have managed to keep my grades and GPA up. I decided to take this class because I have an interest in media and am excited to learn more about the ins and outs of it. That's just a little bit about me! Thank you for reading!
