Sound Art Project

 Welcome back to my blog! This week, we learned about the use of sound in movies and were asked to make a video using just sound. For this project, I partnered up with my classmate Gabrielle Brown to create our narrative and videos. I hope you enjoy!


. Here is our narrative, based on which we created all the sounds. 

1. Going to confess your love to a crush

  1. Taking a deep breathe (in and out)
  2. Crack knuckles
  3. Footsteps
  4. Heartbeat
  5. Background chatter

2. Confessing to your crush

  1. Faster heartbeat
  2. Swoosh of paper
  3. Crumple a piece of paper
  4. Crush saying "Sorry, not interested"
  5. A person with loud footsteps running
  6. Whimping
  7. Door opening to the bathroom
  8. Footsteps to the bathroom stall
  9. Locking stall
  10. Back slammed into the stall
  11. Crying

All about me

       Hi, my name is Kara. I am a Junior at Hollywood Hills High. I have been taking AICE classes since my freshman year and have completed and passed five classes. In school, I participate in some after-school activities. I am the vice president of Careers in Sports and a member of the Women of Tomorrow club, as well as SADD. I have also been a starting defender for my school's Varsity girls' soccer team since my freshman year. Not only do I play soccer in school, but I also play for an after-school club. Managing being a student and an athlete is hard, but so far, I have managed to keep my grades and GPA up. I decided to take this class because I have an interest in media and am excited to learn more about the ins and outs of it. That's just a little bit about me! Thank you for reading!
